like, good to great pvpers, but instead of gvg the mainly TA?

There are quite a few, but it's only 4 players, so finding one that would actively use you would be hard. In my opinion, it's best joining an AB/HA/GvG guild and try to get 4 of them to do some TA with you.

As for Core TA, there are some, but it's hard to find them.
